Hand Up is a mental health
support group network in Townsville, QLD. We are a group of people who have experienced
depression,
anxiety and other mental illnesses who come together to share
our experiences, by doing so we find and offer understanding, acceptance and
friendship.
We find that being involved in a support group aids our recovery and is a valuable addition to the professional treatment that we receive from our GPs or other mental health professionals.
The Hand Up support group meets on Tuesdays, from 9.30am-11.30am at Saint Matthews Church Hall, Hermit Park. Contact John on 4779 2203, Fred or Carol on 4725 5755.
